Rising with Care, Ease & Grace Part 1

Traveling along sacred paths, though a blessing, it isn’t always easy. There is deep work involved on our part, as we co-create our new being-ness with the divine.  We stumble into realms where all the rules we believed to be written in stone, no longer apply. And how all of this unfolds in our body and consciousness is not always understood, but ever so important to explore. I was inspired to write this a few weeks ago and happy to be addressing it now.

Over the last couple of months it’s felt important to be paying attention to self-care during the continuous influx of energies. We are a mind-body-heart-energy holistic system or psycho-physio-spiritual beings. I know it may sound dry or detached to put a label as such on ourselves that sounds kind of mechanical, yet in some ways it can be helpful to break us free for a moment of our personal attachments to how we normally perceive our existence. The point is that, all of these aspects of ourselves are affected as our energy raises. We aren’t going to escape the impact that is experienced during our awakening process. It will affect how our mind processes thoughts, memories, experiences. It affects how our body feels and functions. And our emotional world may also become it’s own roller coaster ride.

I remember in the early-early days of my own awakening, the first phases I experienced were of such bliss and expansion. In my naivety, I felt magically free of reactivity! Ah! the freedom of no more buttons to be pushed. I was in the flow! Indeed, the power of Grace to hold us in those stages of infancy is vital. I think many would throw in the towel instantly, if the purification’s on the gross levels were the first experiences to be had.

Needless to say, I came back down to earth ~ with a heavy thud.  My mind felt warped and very unstable, no longer serene, I was easily agitated, and I felt numb. I truly didn’t know what had transpired in that time, and wasn’t aware that my ‘garbage’ of past wounds, angers, fears, and lives were rising to the surface. To complicate the situation and add insult to my ‘injured’ sense of reality, my body went into heavy detox mode. For over a month I was in bed as the beloved energy of Divine Mother, Shakti Kundalini, moved through the physical body to clear Her path. It began with a UTI, then a kidney infection. Afterwards, energy moved through the intestines, literally dumping waste in amounts which I was stunned to see the body could hold. Traveling upward through the respiratory system, and finally the grand finale, into the head. This was my breaking point. This was when I vowed off the spiritual path. This was when I was truly left within the depths of myself, alone with many shadow aspects of me.  This lifetime and past. Divine Mother had lost her term of endearment in my mind and heart and became simply “The Energy” spoken with dread.

Some undergo much more dramatic processes, and others less so. The point to remember, is that if we are on an awakening trajectory, our bodies, minds, hearts will undergo clearings.

I look back now and marvel at how profound of a time, of an initiation onto the deeper truths of awakening, that first year was. Needless to say, Soul wouldn’t let me return to the previous state of falling back to sleep for long. This ones heart began to long again for our Primal Mother, my Divine Mother, as soon as my mind gained strength and a semblance of clarity.

Fast forward, 16 years later. With the increase of frequencies, the collective Ascension, of the personal Kundalini rising (at least this is the perception which I hold this continuous evolution), I still am experiencing cleansing’s, though less intense, and witnessing this in others.

Since there is such a quickening on all levels of our being, there are some self-care tips which have been helpful in maintaining some balance along the the occasional, rocky road.

(I will note a disclaimer here: Always check with your doctor if you feel your health is in danger. Nothing I say here is to negate medical assessment. You must listen to your own body. I am not prescribing anything for anyone else, simply offering my own personal experience and ideas to explore for one’s self, in the best way possible for you.)

** First of all, I can’t say enough about allowing permission to rest. It’s natural to wonder “Why am I so tired and groggy?” This is especially challenging if we’re attached to the  conditioning of ‘productivity’, when we feel like we should be functioning in a more ‘outwardly productive’ fashion.  However, there is SO much ‘productivity’ going on internally when we are called into sleep. During the more active planetary phases it’s been said and experienced by many that we need to sleep more, nap more, be quiet more, find stillness more. Sleep and rest allows for the anchoring and integration of all the new inner refining taking place. Learning to just Be right now is paramount for smooth sailing. The Feminine is calling us into greater modes of quietude, gentleness and receptivity. In this way there will be a balancing so that we harmonize with the Divine Masculine.

** Body aches and pains. Muscle stiffness, pain and cramps as well as joint pain has been present for myself and others. Stretch gently and bring attention to the sensations without pushing or forcing the body to open to quickly. I have found some days, that I have to stretch multiple times a day. Stretch lovingly. Keep the body moving, as this helps to move old energy out, while creating space and ease for the new.

** Walk, dance, swim. While continuing to pay attention to moving the body, it’s important to find joyful ways of being in the body. Find what nourishes you! Follow want feels good.

** Magnesium has been such a gift! It helps with free floating anxiety or pressure in the chest, as downloads are entering in. This supplement does wonders for stiff muscles, to help sleep at night, and for overall relaxation. I especially love the powder, ‘Calm’ brand.

In this book, Spiritual Nutrition ~ Six Foundations for Spiritual Life and the Awakening of Kundalini’, by Dr. Gabriel Cousens, (I can’t recommend this book enough!) he lists a number of minerals which are important, as they are frequencies of light and will support the activation on a cellular level, which then supports our bodies to remain strong, stable and balanced. ** Epson Salt baths. Though it may be too hot for some of us at this time of year for that, it’s always good for detoxing, calming, and energetically cleansing the body.

** Drink a lot of water. The general water rule is 8 – 8 oz glasses of water a day. Listen to your body. If you’re active, drink more. I usually add a pinch of raw red sea salt into my water for minerals and to increase absorption. A 1/2 lemon in the morning is also helpful to keep the organs clear.

** Receive body work or energy work at least weekly. This keeps energies moving through the body on all levels. The more everything moves through our physical and subtle bodies, the more ‘up-shifting’ we can handle. To inquire for distance or local options for assistance, click here. The influx higher frequencies need to have our aligned assistance for the integration process to take place with the most ease, harmony, and balance.

** Meditation. Daily meditation automatically balances, clears, calms and clarifies our body-mind-heart-energy. This helps us to dial into our inner voice, our inner knowing, and connects us to the higher truths of our being. Meditation has been a staple in most all spiritual traditions for a reason. ** Grounding.  Ascension/5-D, Awakening, does’t mean we’re leaving our body. We are anchoring higher qualities of being in our body, integrating our Highest Self, here.now. It’s common for some people to feel disassociated, floaty, out of body, or too airy, if they aren’t rooting in the chakras that stabilize and support a balanced rising.  Grounding meditations are important if this is your experience, as well as Earthing, keeping your gaze to the ground and connecting to the sensations of your footsteps are some helpful hints.

** Crystals and stones can help on subtle levels for a myriad of imbalances. I line a number of them up on my computer to help with the EMF’s. Carry them throughout the day. Nap with specific stones for specific needs. I’m still in the newbie stages of exploring and experimenting and finding what is working best for me at this time.

** Let go of the caffeine,  refined sugars, processed foods, too much meat and dairy.  As sad as it may be to let go of the stimulants and those foods that ‘bog’ us down, it’s in our best interest. The cleaner the diet, with organic whole foods and fresh produce the better we will be served. It’s always good to remember, that our bodies are being supported in holding higher frequencies and more energy. The ‘cleaner’ our body, the less work the divine energy needs to detox and the stronger our body becomes.

** Let go of the negative mental and emotional energy we’re feeding ourselves. Violence, division, anger, hate, etc. enter into our subconscious and will need to be cleansed as well, at some point.  Unplugging from the collective thought forms and the programming which ignites fear, scarcity, anger, division, and self-rejection is vitally important to our process of awakening. What are you watching, reading, listening to? Where are you going? What company are you keeping? Remember: Everything holds an energetic vibration and consciousness. ‘Eat wisely.’

** One of my biggest lessons has been realizing that as the energies come into our field and effect the body, the 2 systems that are impacted greatly are the Nervous System and the Endocrine System. What I’m finding  supportive on multiple levels in this way, are pure Essential Oils. I’m going to write  a separate blog for this soon.

** Winding down, one of the most difficult things to let go of that many people find, is to spend LESS time on the computer, phones, tablets, or in areas where Wi-fi is always on. This creates so much havoc in our energy bodies and not to mention our physical vitality. For many of us, as our own frequency rises, so will the sensitivity in experiencing the electro-magnetic field imposing on our personal energy field. Check in with your body to see if you get headaches, nausea, feel literal ‘waves’ in your energy field, dizzy, or what I call hot spots. This is what I’ve termed highly sensitive areas like my throat or lower abdomen if the EMF’s are affecting me, and depending on where I have the computer or phone situated.  And please remember, even if you aren’t sensitized to this yet, you are still being affected and it interferes with the ‘upgrades’ of energies attempting to assist us.

** And last, as has been mentioned numerous times in other posts, spend time on the Earth, out in Mama Nature. She will help us to balance & harmonize, naturally. Earthing, which is the practice of your feel or your whole body as bare as possible on the earth. Especially for those living in the city, like myself,  there is great incoherence in the energy fields, and this greatly affects our health. Earthing helps to reorganize our energy system with love.

I hope this is helpful. I’m aware that not everyone is experiencing all of any of these things I’ve described, as well as many symptoms haven’t been addressed.  You may or may not be having these experiences now or in the future, however, I feel it’s always helpful to have a reference point, just in case and know you aren’t alone!
