Have you ever experienced being held deeply?

If you have, then you may have felt an ability to let go into a deeply relaxed, open, soft state. Where your body tensions melted into waxen streams with your breath. You may heave felt your muscles expand into softeness and your joints gain spaciousness. Your body may have become sand-bag heavy, and your breath, slow and almost still, allowing your mind to finally rest in silence.

Safety and vulnerability take root in being deeply held. Trust in the goodness of life can emerge in deep holding. We remember in this sacred space, that we are never alone, we are always supported and we access our soul presence, which shines the light on our innate resilience.

Ideally, any and every experience of holding transforms our awareness, that This, is a True state of being … and over time it is integrated as a new reality from within us.

This is the realm of the Feminine. Whether you find this depth of connectedness and nurturance within a family, a community, or your most beloved person.

A current reality exisits, that few of us have ever experienced the deep holding that allows us to remember our state of oneness and connectedness, of complete safety in our vulnerability. Of Wholeness.

There is a call from the depths of reality, to return us to the rememberance that deep holding is both innate within us and needs to become a natural state of being.

One of the intentions of Art of Sacred Embodiment is to support this as a new embodied way of living. It requires allowance, surrender, releasing, and receptivity.

While we begin from the outside perhaps, in relational intimacy with another … a friend, a partner, a practitioner, our unwavering trust in deep holding, will come from that which is bigger and more infallible that our loved ones.

It will come from our inner relationship with our Soul Presence and the Divine, in particular, the Divine Mother aspect of God, which also resides within us. This is Life.
