I’ve been singing some Carol King lately, with the slight change of the lyrics . . . I feel the earth move under my feet, I feel continuous walls of attachments & resistance crumbling down. I feel the sky tumbling down . . . With every release of old beliefs, stories, personality traits, whenever Spirit’s around . . .
Little did I know I had the expectation to return to a caterpillar stage & create a new groove at the start of the year. Instead the butterfly keeps emerging rapidly.
I’ve given up on finding a new routine, which I’d hoped I’d be able to ground in once I rounded this monumental corner of transformation, which I’ve been longing for, for eons it seems. Especially at this time of quickening evolution on the planet & mind blowing revelations when witnessing our human experiences . . . New, new, new. It’s sort of like being in a carnival fun house trying to find sure footing on the ever shifting floor beneath your feet. Some moments it’s amusing, others it’s anxiety producing, and many other moments you just want the ride to stop.
Instead it’s an on-going dance of new phases & stages of becoming nothing of who I used to be. I know that many of you know this feeling right now. Awakening & awakening & awakening to ever new levels of Self, Love, dimensions, divinity & assistance from beyond the veil.
The new stability is found in the heart & in the growing direct experience, rather than that which we can touch & see. It’s a constant re-aligning of action & surrender, intent & consent to the Divine flow. This is what we signed up for. We consented to go on this earthly ride at this time, to bring in & anchor greater Light.
The more resistance to change at this time, the more challenges I find. And so, I continue to Let Go & fly!
Even as there are many of us who have been experiencing the process of awakening, as it is just that an on-going process, there are many of our brothers & sisters who this may be their maiden voyage, and what a time to begin . . . Although, awakening is the purpose of this time on this planet. This time may be wrought with much unexpected, therefore I feel it’s up to all of us to come together & share our experience, strength & hope.
Change is knocking on many hearts. If there is only an understanding of a world that is linear, rational, goal oriented, work, entertainment, & processing the duality of our present political climate, when change begins to tug at you, it may not make sense.
Many people know that their old ways aren’t working any more. They feel the stress, the exhaustion, the phantom illnesses, the rising anxiety & the debilitating depression, the yearning for something new. Some realize that they are being programmed to be distracted, and follow the distractions the next moment. Others are gaining the recognition that they are comfortably numb.
There is a growing awareness & desire for something more. Something deeper. Something more sacred. Something more fulfilling & enlivening. But there is the catch. To give life to the new will require change. Change will be uncomfortable. Period.
As soon as the heart & soul reach out to inquire for the new, the life of the creative feminine force within them, the knee-jerk reactions say:
“Oh No! I just don’t have the time.”
“Oh No! My spouse would never go for that.”
“Oh No! I couldn’t take that kind of time, that would be so selfish.”
“Oh No! I can’t afford that.”
“Oh No! But what if I fail?”
All of these rebuttals, make perfect sense. They are rational, and any logical person would say, of course, ‘Stay where & how you are, there’s too much to lose. It’s better to be safe than sorry.’
This is the paradigm we are leaving behind, whether we are ready for it or not! The growing discomfort of this time is to push us out of our comfort zones, our programmed thinking. It’s asking us to question our beliefs.
Why do you believe what you believe?
Are those beliefs yours or passed on through society?
And finally, are those beliefs serving your personal highest good, bringing you joy at the end of the day & the highest good of our world at large?
This is the time to release our stuckness in the root chakras of scarcity, survival, fear, & cultural thought forms, in order to evolve & expand into who we truly are. It is the time where we are being asked to be accountable for who we choose to be, what we choose to contribute to the world, and do we choose to be a Light in the world or a shadow.
What needs to be brought into awareness is that when we choose not to inquire into ourselves as those questions invite, that IS our programming at work. This is the part of us that chooses the status quo of what is known, what is ‘comfortably numb’ verses joyful, celebrating wholeness, stepping into our purpose. This is the part of us that clings to the belief of limitation, rather than expand into abundance, desires to remain asleep, rather than awaken, that chooses to remain trapped in the servitude of programming, rather than experience a greater freedom. This is the part of us that chooses to hand over our personal power to authorities outside of our highest conscience and forfeit our sovereignty..
Change is indeed difficult. It can be confusing. It requires us to release the stability of outworn ways and grow in a faith & trust of the greatness within our soul. Change sets the stage for our transformation, and it doesn’t play by the rational rules. It plays by the rules of faith, creativity, inspiration & intuition. It introduces us to the direct experience of higher awareness, soul connection, & being true to one’s Self. It leads us to divine connection & divine knowing, which increases our Faith & Trust that we are not alone. Choosing change gives us the strength to resist falling prey to all the lies & programming of the world.
We can choose to stay in the stuckness today, a year, or 5 years from now. We’ll most likely continue seeing through the same eyes & often times carrying a heavier load. I’ve heard people say, ‘if only I’d taken that other path when I had the chance, my life could have been so much different.’ Well, this is true, and it’s also true that the path of choosing self-empowerment, self-love will always be there. Sometimes it just gets harder to see as time goes on.
We are given choices over & over again, moments when we are on that threshold again, to honor our Self fully and say
“Yes!” It’s time for something different.
“Yes! I choose to step out of my sleep walking & awaken to the truth that is calling from inside my heart.”
“Yes! I choose to face my fears, insecurities, in order to give life to my purpose & sacred calling.”
“Yes! I choose to go through the discomfort in order to access greater happiness, joy, trust, and faith.”
We all have these choices, on-going, and that is the joy and wonder of being a spiritual-human being evolving. My inner world & outer reality will continue to morph and transform, as I choose consistent awakening. This is such a powerful time to shine & radiate the Light within you. The path before you is open and calling. I hope, if you haven’t yet found you’re path, you join the growing numbers of change makers! Come fly with us!
